The Sporting Status Committee has imposed the penalty of administrative office deduction against the President of Panathinaikos BC Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos (Decision no. 22/2014), which was communicated to months ago and has since forbidden his presence in any sporting halls and events.
Finale with a victory for the Gloria Cup
Olympiacos completed its games for the Gloria Cup with a victory. The 'reds' edged Fenerbahce/Ulker 69-60 and won the third place of the tournament.
First defeat
Olympiacos lost a friendly game for the first time this season. The "reds" were defeated by Unicaja Malaga 82-69 for the second day of the Gloria Cup.

On Monday evening (22/9) the League draw for the 2014-15 season took place.
Bartzokas: “The most difficult tournament”
Giorgos Bartzokas and Giorgos Printezis discussed Olympiacos participation in the Gloria Cup in Istanbul just before the delegation’s departure.
A win against Forli
Olympiacos defeated Forli 90-61 and finished all of the team's friendly matches in Italy on top. Giorgos Printezis lead all scorers.
Darden with a fracture
Tremmell Darden hurt his right arm during the friendly game against Venetia and took an x-ray Wednesday morning to determine the extent of his injury. The news weren't good for the American.
Two for two for Olympiacos in Italy
Olympiacos won for a second time in a friendly game in Italy. The Piraeus team edged Venetia 93-63 with Matt Lojeski being the game MVP.
A light training for the reds…
The first sample of the season was excellent for Olympiacos. The team of Giorgos Bartzokas beat Olimpija Ljubljana 78-41 in the first friendly game of the season and had the opportunity to lighten up the schedule following a tough pre-season camp.

Olympiacos BC announces the inking of Vassilis Mouratos. The 17year old international guard will be wearing the red shirt for the following five years.

Darden: I want to set an example both on and off the court
Tremell Darden was the missing piece to Olympiacos' puzzle. The American guard decided to join Olympiacos after a 1.5 seasons with Real Madrid, where he took part in 2 Euroleague finals, won a championship, a Spanish Super Cup and a Spanish Cup.

Even with a two year delay, Mr. Vassilakopoulos has finally publicly admitted to the insurance coveage for the National Selections players being anything but sufficient, thus completely vindicating what Olympiacos has been stating all along.
