Olympiacos began this season's Euroleague with a victory, beating Baskonia in Crete 75-64.

Olympiacos is at Heraklion since Tuesday morning (October 10). The ‘reds’ traveled to Crete for the Thursday game (12/10, 20:00 CET) against Baskonia for the Euroleague premiere, without Vasilis Spanoulis and Nikos Arsenopoulos.
Premiere with a defeat at the SEF
Olympiacos lost for the STOIXIMAN.GR Basket League premiere to Panathinaikos 68-71 at the SEF. Our team played without Vassilis Spanoulis and Brian Roberts (injuries) and of course without the presence of fans (team penalty).

Olympiacos lost 65-70 to Besiktas for the "TUBAD" tournament premiere that takes place in Istanbul and will be playing on Saturday (30/9) against the losing team of the Galatasaray - Gaziantep match up.
Sfairopoulos teaching…
A few days ago in Crete, Giannis Sfairopoulos opened the doors to the ‘reds’ practice so as the Cretan basketball coaches could get an insight to the way Olympiacos operates, while he got to talk to them for quite sometime later on answering their questions.
