A comfortable win over Unicaja
A winning start for Olympiacos in the “Costa del Sol” tournament. Despite many and important absences (Printezis, Papanikolaou, Mantzarsi, Milutinov, Strelnieks, Timma and Vezenkov were with their respective National Selections), the ‘reds’ overcame Unicaja Malaga 94-77 and tomorrow (14/09, 21.00)…
"Costa del Sol": Real Madrid - Οlympiacos 80-69
Olympiacos completed the "Costa del Sol" tournament with a defeat. Our team lost 69-80 to Real Madrid, in a game that apart from many and important absences, David Blatt did not use Vassilis Spanoulis in the second half and Zach LeDay and suffered cramps and had to leave the game at 28’.

A friendly win against Rethymno
Olympiacos played without his international players (Printezis, Papanikolaou, Mantzaris, Timma, Strelnieks and Milutinov), however, this did not stop him from comfortably besting Rethymno (99-66), in a friendly game that was held today (05/09) at the SEF.

Olympiacos beat PAOK 103-76 in friendly game that was held today (30/08) at Metsovo.
A special dinner!
The Olympiacos delegation visited downtown Metsovo Tuesday evening (28/08) and had dinner at the “Galaxy” restaurant in the company of the Epirus Regional Governor Mr. Alexandros Kachrimanis and the Mayor of Metsovo Mr. Konstantinos Tzafeas.

Giorgos Printezis is just as hungry as the new guys for titles! The 'reds' forward talked about the high expectations from the new season, while he stated to be lucky to work with coach David Blatt.

David Blatt appeared excited and ready to do all it takes for Olympiacos to succeed in the new season. The 'reds' coach also stated to be happy having Vassilis Spanoulis and Giorgos Printezis on his side and not having to play against them!

The unofficial jump-ball for the 2018-19 season took place upon beginning of the pre-season and the Olympiacos players have decided on the numbers for the jerseys in view of the upcoming season.
