Friendly games against Promitheas are cancelled, photos from day 7
The ‘reds’ are going to have to wait a little longer till the first (unofficial) game of the season, due to a COVID-19 case with the team of Promitheas that forced the two scheduled friendly games against the Patras team to be cancelled (August 31 and September 2).

The pre-season for Olympaicos officially began on August 17, while in a few days the players under Giorgos Bartzokas will be taking their first competition tests during the friendly game against Promitheas Patras (August 31).

After medical tests, physicals were in order. Tuesday morning (August 11), the Olympiacos’ players underwent physical conditioning tests at the “Homeostasis-Holistic Center” under the guidance of our team’s associate, Mr. Giorgos Leon.

On Monday morning (August 10), a delegation of the Medical Center of Athens came to the SEF and performed a series of medical tests on the players, the coaching staff as well as the staff of Olympiacos.

In consideration of the pre season preparation beginning, Kostas Papanikolaou was tested for COVID-19 and was found positive to the virus.
